FORKLIFT TRUCK DRIVER

Reporting to the yard supervisor, the forklift driver operates a forklift truck (lateral/frontal) for goods handling, inspection, movement and/or loading operations depending on the instructions received. The different conditions on the Group’s sites may require the forklift driver to work inside or outside for receipt and dispatch, or directly at the logistics platform.

Prerequisites: CACES forklift licence mandatory and significant experience of 2 to 3 years in a similar job.

MAINTENANCE ENGINEER

The maintenance engineer adjusts, maintains and repairs the machinery, equipment, installations and systems, automated or otherwise, required for production and more generally the smooth running of the company. He participates in manufacturing and modification of components and devices. With good analytical and problem solving skills, the maintenance engineer can work independently and is able to manage priorities.

Prerequisites: Technical training such as Bac+2, BTS in industrial maintenance, electrical engineering, specialising in electricity and automation. Significant experience of at least 2 years in a similar job in an SME type industrial environment.

PRODUCTION LINE WORKER

Reporting to a supervisor, the production line worker is responsible for production on his line and all of the machines (adjustment, maintenance, cleaning, etc.) on this line, under the efficiency, safety, quality and delivery conditions required by the production plan. This job has specific requirements in terms of health, safety and product quality. Attention to detail and good organisational skills are a real advantage for this position.

Prerequisites: preliminary experience in production line work required.

CARPENTER/FITTER

Reporting to the team leader, the carpenter is responsible for fitting and erecting trusses, installing insulation and roofs, cladding, fitting door frames, a structure and a timber frame, exclusively for pig farm buildings. Performance of the job (N2 minimum) on timber or metal frame, or roofer or cladder profile.  Regional or national travel, by the week or fortnight.

Prerequisites: Work at height required, joinery skills preferred. Industrial carpentry skills, large volumes, cladding, installation of door frames is a plus.

DESIGN OFFICE ENGINEER

In partnership with sales staff, the design office engineer is responsible for reading construction plans, analysing specifications, studying various technical solutions, suggesting improvements and advising customers. He redesigns structural components (beams, etc.), produces manufacturing plans for the production workshop, etc.

Prerequisites: BTS/DUT in civil engineering or equivalent required. Preliminary design office experience required. Good knowledge of Autocad software is a must.

SPL AUXILIARY CRANE DRIVER

The SPL CACES auxiliary crane driver is responsible for loading and unloading machinery on site.

Prerequisites: EC permit. FIMO/FCO. Tachograph cards. CACES R390.

SALES ENGINEER

Working closely with the sales assistant, the Sales Engineer is responsible for promoting sales of the Group’s products to professional customers (trade, DIY stores, farmers). The Sales Engineer is responsible for following up sales and for customer satisfaction by meeting new requests. Truly passionate about sales and the land, the Sales Engineer likes to communicate and has a good head for business and service. Being independent, thorough, responsive and available will be a real advantage.

Prerequisites: BAC +2/3 specialising in sales (e.g. BTS, DUT, Licence Pro). Experience in B to B trade, ideally in the timber industry, preferred.

SALES ASSISTANT

The go-between for customers, field sales and the sales department, the sales assistant is responsible for maintaining customer relations and for handling the commercial and administrative aspects of sales. As well as good secretarial skills, the sales assistant must have very good knowledge of the company, its products and its environment. Thorough, organised and responsive, the pairing with the Sales Engineer has a keen understanding of service and customer contact.

Prerequisites: BAC +2/3 specialising in sales (e.g. BTS, DUT, Licence Pro). Significant experience of 2 to 3 years in a similar job preferred. Knowledge of several languages is a real advantage in our company.

OPINION LEADER

Reporting to the Sales Director, the opinion leader recommends the company’s products to architects, construction economists, social landlords, contractors, etc. He/she is also responsible for monitoring work sites and providing product advice. In conjunction with the marketing department, the opinion leader must perform continuous monitoring (trends, identification of new marketing techniques, competition watch) in his/her environment.

Prerequisites: BAC +2/3 specialising in sales (e.g. BTS, DUT, Licence Pro). Significant experience of 2 to 3 years in a similar job. Good knowledge of English is preferred.
